Reflection for Yachting and Kayaking

Something I was pleased with was how Matthew helped me when we were in the optimist yacht, because I had no idea how to sail an optimist yacht.

I really enjoyed learning how to sail a yacht and a kayak because it was a fantastic experience for me and it was awesome.

Something I found hard was to sail the yacht the correct way and not go overboard. I found this hard because sometimes we were just sitting there and not moving.

Something that made me think was why we had to put our right had on the blue tape when we had to go kayaking. This made me think because on other kayaks they don’t have the blue tape.

Something I want to get better at is to sail the yacht because I got confused doing it.

Camp Senses poem

I see: Glow Worms sparkling in the dark

I Hear: People cheering other people in handball

I Smell: Delicious pancakes sizling in the pan

I Taste: The scrumscious pancakes in my mouth

I Feel: The freezing water when I went kayaking

I Think: Camp Kaitawa was an amazing place.

Mysterious Creature

This is my report about the imaginary creature called the Chimp Dog.

Its Not Easy Being A Book

Its not easy being  a book because,

I get torn and ripped, by rough human hands.

My colour fades all the time and pages get folded over and used for bookmarks.

Kids draw on me and hot coffee gets all over my pages, and I get crumbs and food on me.

I get thrown around by mean hands.

I get put in boring old bookshelves and dust gets all over me and I start to sneeze, but when I get picked to get read I get really excited.

I don’t like being a book!!!
